The only options if asked are "it went well" (a lie), "it wasn't productive" (which is what they said) or "no comment" which is just a roundabout way of saying it was unproductive.
"Ahh it wasn't very productive to be honest" is a perfectly reasonable response to being asked how a conversation with family went. Details of the conversation were not shared.
