On another forum that I subscribe to, a barrack room lawyer is waffling about intent and outcome.
He maintains that even if the guy with the laser had ‘intent’ to shine it into Schmeichel’s eyes, the ‘outcome’ was no injury.
Ergo, (according to him), the CPS wouldn’t charge the guy with the laser, as they’d have zero chance of a conviction!
