This woman next door never says thanks either. ![]() I took some big bags of dog food in once for a woman a few doors up. But she was very nice and apologized and thanked me. But that was only once. |

When we first moved in...I took a parcel from Boden (very middleclass ) for the neighbor in the biggest house in our set of 5. Bearing in mind I hadnt met her I delivered it and introduced myself...she pretty much grunted and took the parcel like your neighbour...she went straight on the hit list...![]() Thing is the likes of you and I and many others are just being thoughtful and helpful but it takes nothing to say Thankyou and show a bit of appreciation...and if people cannot do that then they deserve nothing...in the long run its their loss. |

It’s very rarely it happens now as people are working from home but we have always taken in parcels and had parcels taken for us with no issue ...must just be lucky

We have new neighbours now and we will do it for them...but like you say with so many working from home now it doesn't happen that much. |

![]() The thing is if I take parcels in, I'm the one that cannot go out, just in case the neighbour comes for their parcel. And it's so rude to ring the doorbell at 10.20pm.
