One I found out recently that took me by surprise…
Woolly Mammoths were still very much alive and roaming the earth when the Ancient Egyptians were building the Pyramids. “In fact, the Great Pyramid of Giza had existed for 1,000 years by the time the last woolly mammoth died.”
