I mean recent Prem results aside we came 6th last season, have gotten through to the QF of the League Cup and topped our Europa League group so this lucky run sure is going on a long time

Obviously I'm no Villa fan, but he took a team that were a mess of a club, and he had them playing some decent Football that I haven't seen Villa play before in my lifetime (especially the 7-2 game against an incredible Liverpool team) yet the first sign of trouble comes and they don't even give him a chance to fix it? That's pretty cold from the owners imo. I just want to add btw well done to West Ham, I bet that LT & MTVN are chuffed with the result.

And I'm with you Alf as I still wouldn't be surprised if Liverpool still win the Premier League this season.

Well he’s lost Grealish plus the new players haven’t had time to settle . This is a nonsense decision.. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

They got lucky so many times today .. The first goal ... the missed sending off for that horrendous assault on Henderson. The missed foul on Mane which lead to the breakaway goal ( with the fortunate finish ) Souček could have been sent off twice for repetitive fouls .. Mane would have scored two or three any other day . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

Admittedly the foul on Henderson was lucky to not result in a red card.

Only bad decision I saw was Jota not getting sent off for knocking Ogbonna out the game

Never been a side so entitled as Liverpool who think they deserve to win every game, opposition always get lucky, always screwed over by decisions etc
Sometimes you just need to take it on the chin |

Really well done to West Ham.
This has been some great results notched up recently and hard won too. |

Klopp is a bad ungracious loser
But we are not surprised Great to see Celtic the only team not to have a poppy on their shirt Only team to ruin the minutes silence (again) Vile just vile |

Arsenal have done well to turn it around, but what West Ham has done so far is more impressive imo.

yes quite surprising, 3-2 win for West Ham over Liverpool
always had seen West Ham myself as pretty inconsistent, but good to see they have upped their game recent years you can also see how David Moyes fits in perfectly with them compared to how he flopped at Man United (but honestly Sir Alex's legacy was a bit too high expectations for him)

At Everton and West Ham, he's built teams where he gets the best out of players. One of the great managers in Premier League history. Last edited by Alf; 08-11-2021 at 10:39 AM. |

I can’t abide counter attack teams so I’m biased .. It will be interesting to see how they manage when Antonio has his next injury lay-off - he’s only managed 168 games on the last 7 seasons - Barca’s 18 yr old Pedri played over 80 last season ( including the Euros and the Olympics) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |
