Sooooo .. when I had my first two jabs ( in hospital) I don’t know if they aspirated them BUT both nurses had to wait for the woman in charge to come and check the syringe before they rammed it into my arm .
Now when I had my booster and flu jab ( same day - different arm) the woman in the pharmacy booth just injected me .. no checking by anyone else .
“ Aspiration before injection of vaccines or toxoids (i.e., pulling back on the syringe plunger after needle insertion but before injection) is not necessary because no large blood vessels are present at the recommended injection sites, and a process that includes aspiration might be more painful for infants “
