I'm reminded of the reason I don't normally participate in these sort of discussions (or political ones etc.)
You have an opinion on one aspect alone (like the scene I see as misleading in this case) and you get lectures on how your opinion is completely wrong and what you should be focusing on instead and you must be anti - trans and anti - progressive yadda yadda yadda.
People can't have discussions anymore without OTT assumptions being thrown around.
Can't be arsed.
