we can still show respect and appreciation without cancelling something, it has annoyed me, but i'm old enough to remember similar stuff happening in the past. I just thought we had moved on from that strict protocol. Luckily we have streaming services these days, with only a couple of channels in the past it was insane

If there really was no pressure from the Government then unfortunately the Premier League were idiots instead, either way they were cowardly or stupid, not a good look for the FA.
