It’s extremely sad that the queen has died but I don’t agree with cancelling all the football this weekend. There are still ways for people to show their respects at the game, whether that’s a minute silence, a round of applause etc.

If I was in a position where I had spent a lot of money on football tickets, travel and accommodation for an away game for it to be cancelled I wouldn’t be happy at all.

Peter Crouch has been quite vocal on this topic and apparently Trevor Sinclair I’d in trouble over an outrageous tweet !
