Interesting choice MTVN

I have Green Book among my dvd collection, I bought it about a year ago but I've not watched it yet.

Obviously you recommend it, so I might put it onto my list of things I need to watch.

It's not an all time classic or anything but it is a very enjoyable film. I saw it in the cinema mind and I think films always stick with you more when you see them that way

It's funny how memory can distort things like that innit. Sometimes I feel like certain songs came out much more recently than they did, so when they appear in oldish films it's quite jarring to hear things which "hadn't been invented yet."

Yeah I think it was a very good film but given the length and the standard of Scorcese's other stuff I don't think it quite lived up to expectations

Just bought The Gentleman on dvd. I didn't realise it was a Guy Ritchie film.

How does it compare to his classics, Lock, Stock and Snatch?

It was OK, not as good as Lock Stock or Snatch.

I thought Hugh Grant was good.

I'll give it a 7/10

I'm gonna put it in my top 5 of this poll and change my vote from Toy Story 4 to The Gentleman.
