Really good point. It's an invasion of privacy. If I were filmed at a gym I'd be fuming I don't want to be on camera thank you very much.

That's another reason why the men are probably 'glancing over' , they're probably wondering why these women have their phones on display, it's so obvious they're filming/up to something . Exactly completely inappropriate in a gym.
