They call themselves gypsies , I have heard them . There's more offensive words which they've said they don't like. You never kicked up a fuss about other communities of people...all of a sudden you're a SJW for the traveller community

The complaints were not because of the word "Gypsy"

Infact the person who wrote that article uses the word "Gypsy" a few times themself.

Your argument was that the word "gypsy" is offensive.

It is when used negatively by outsiders, which has been done time and time again by outsiders in this thread.

To travellers not of roma decent it is offensive. It has been reclaimed by the gypsy communities of roma decent in the same way the n word has been by blacks.
