In all honesty I sort of think H&M are currently low-hanging fruit for South Park, seems a little bit lazy and easy . Though I suspect that's the British perspective, they're not AS panned in the press in the US as they are here.

I'm not saying they're "above" parody or shouldn't be parodied, but that South Park usually does "current" the right way - with astute observations and a twist on the perspective. They're not usually bandwagon-hoppers and this does feel a little... bandwagon-y. But again, maybe that's because it's a UK bandwagon and a US show. They actually missed a tonne of material ripe for parody. They could have included Piers Morgan for a start .

You can call it "bandwagony" but i'd have to disagree, in a sense anyway. What South Park parody, and address, sometimes from a more serious angle and perspective (not in this case, it was pure humour and parody) is current, or recently current. When you look at it like that, the waters between bandwagony and current become very murky. You call it bandwagon because you think they're just echoing the complaints and criticism from most of the world (baring their obsessive defenders/lovers, like a few on here). But that's the point, how they were portrayed is how most people see them. Self centred, hypocritical and delusional "cry babies" who have a life most can only dream of, yet all they do is complain about it. It's insulting to everyday hardworking people struggling to put food on the table.

South Park parody literally every current topic, and they usually do it with a lot of humour, and OTT'ness, mixed in with a hint of seriousness. Last seasons episode with the Russia/Ukraine War (and the US' involvement) for example.

And lets face it, Matt Stone and Trey Parker are not bandwagoners, never have been, and never will be. Through the years they've openly mocked the hypocrisy and self centred nature of Hollywood.

Like it or not, that's Harry and Meghan now, they are top tier entitled Hollywood celebs, who offer no real quality other than to whine and moan about they "victimised" privileged lives.

I disagree with the idea that they don't moan and whinge, they do Glenn. Come on, they have everything they'll ever need, and then some.

Of course though, they are right in questioning untruths in the media, but some things ARE true. A stopped clock is right twice a day (pun intended).

The main reason, i think, they annoy people is because of their hypocrisy and self victimisation of themselves. They are not victims.

I will certainly accept that the more we keep talking about them, like them or not, they will always be there. If they just admitted that's what they wanted, the attention etc, then maybe i could accept them, for what they are. Just another "have it so darn good they don't even know it" couple.

See I think that’s the issue people have. They imagine that’s what they want. Of course it looks that way but let’s be real, they did a couple of interviews and a documentary. Harry bought a book out.

For people neither for them or against them they can see that it’s just tabloid fodder. There isn’t even decent sources in the report. You just have to read the comments to see how unhinged they are.

Yes, she's a grifter and an opportunist, and I doubt she'd turn down a dollar from anyone

BUT

If she wants funding for a project from him, it'd be a drop in the ocean for a billionaire, so I doubt the family cares all that much. No projects she could possibly have in mind would drain his bank account.

And if she's trying anything more nefarious? She wouldn't be seen with him in public, it would be much better guarded.
