I mean there were so many times that Arsenal would pass the ball into an area of the pitch where anyone with eyes could see Man City players were surrounding, but Arsenal would still launch a pass into those areas regardless.
Having said all of that, I do get that the Arsenal squad doesn't have the depth in quality that Man City has.

True .. Arsenal guys are soooo young though so next season they will be considerably stronger especially if they can get Caicedo
