Jokes are worse when written down for starters, unless relying on some kind of wordplay. None of those other jokes are particularly funny, either, so was wokery ruining jokes before weirdos started describing everything as woke?

What's in it for you to make it your aim to defend the woke?

It's an awful joke that never should have won in a million years. It's fairly obvious to anyone with a tiny bit of critical thinking that it was chosen to win for no other reason than that they decided that a female had to win no matter what.

They chose not by ability but by identity. It's pure bigotry. It's no different than opting for choosing someone based on the identity of their race. These people are real bigots. I don't understand how you can't see it?

I agree it's an awful joke, and I didn't defend the joke. It was a prize that was voted on, it wasn't chosen, so I don't understand why you expect me to defend people having a terrible sense of humour..

When I heard that was the winning joke I thought there was potential wordplay to be had, with zoos and cheetahs, but she didn't get there.

Hers feels like a first draft.
