I think she's just a very young girl lacking in experience and is used to being around people who understand the norms of trans people's lives so I think she found it more jarring and less offensive which is why she wanted to talk it through. She never said anything bad about Farida, they really like each other!

tbh that's another interesting point , Hallie is still young and hasn't had much life or relationship experiences. It will be interesting to see how she behaves in 10 years time .

18 isn't a baby , but it's still young. And think how much the mind and maturity changes when getting older.

…this exactly, perfectly said…🩷…Farida would have probably not been sure how to approach the questions she had either so it blurted out a bit abruptly and clumsily…but that’s also understandable…and Hallie was a bit upset that she felt that she was being that of as a male is what I think…but the reactions and actions with both of them was what BB is about, really….having that opportunity to be able to have these discussions that for Farida, will hopefully widen and open her thoughts and for Hallie, it’s learning how to respond with understanding of good intentions and genuine interest etc…it was all good, I thought…

Yeah, I think interactions like this just lead to growth for both of them, there was no nastiness!

I’d suggest that Halle is either lacking in awareness or she’s completely out of touch with reality.

I was tired when I watched it but I’m pretty sure she kept using the phrase “majority” in all her examples- saying things like ..

“The majority understand about transitioning “

“ the majority know and accept that I’m a female “

Etc etc
