I didn't understand her reasoning there either. If the man who preceded you has done you the kindness of pulling the seat up in order for him to pee into the bowl, surely there's not gonna be any pee on the seat?

If they’re too lazy to pick up the seat, the least they can do is wipe up after themselves, it’s common courtesy

Well you should put the lid down before you flush…for hygienic reasons.

If a bloke has a pee with the seat up I guess it can splash onto the underneath of the toilet seat so if a female comes in to pee they have to touch that part to put the seat down they may well be touching pee.
However if a man has a pee and puts the seat down and then the next person to pee is a bloke then he still has to touch the underneath of the seat to put it up…

The morale to this story is…always wash your hands after you have had a pee/Pooh….

What a first world problem eh? If a guy goes after a woman chances are they might have to lift the seat, if a woman goes after a man, there’s also a bit of a chance she may have to put the seat down.. simple.. move on and shut it Olivia

You can’t leave toilets open as they’re full of germs- they even have notices saying please close the lid before flushing

There are videos online showing toilet walls and ceilings in the dark using special torches

There are faeces particles all over the walls and ceilings of toilets

As a proud misogynist I can say I have never put the seat down. Putting the seat down is womens work. Can't imagine why none of my misses have stuck around . Still they always come back for some more disappointing.
