The thing is though, Ammi, those words are ambiguous enough to enable producers to manipulate them as they wish. For instance, they could say that ‘isolated from the outside world’ actually means that housemates can have no contact with family, friends, their work and their normal, everyday lives. They could claim it means physically isolated. They could say that it’s like a prison which isolates inmates from the outside world, yet they still have some awareness of what is going on.
