…no, I did like The Snapper characters more and just that whole family vibe that it had…Dessie and Sharon’s relationship was gorgeous and him becoming a grandfather etc…but this was still lovely…I think for me, maybe that they didn’t really hugely get into the chipper and fall in love with the business…?…that maybe I didn’t get into the characters quite as much…plus I didn’t like it when they had their night out and were with those other ladies…I felt for the wives…I probably overthink some stuff…
Yeah I'd imagine that was a nod to the Snapper. I don't think it's as good as The Snapper or The Commitments but I do like it anyway.
