Oh well if another bloke has said so then that'll be right won't it, clearly a demon, she's made her kids imagine that their dad wasn't nice to them - that crone! Probably put a hex bag under their pillow or something. Poor Brad. Maybe you should invite him along to the nearest Men's Shed for a couple of beers and a firm handjob.

Oh I didn't know he had denied them, that makes all the difference. I've compared pictures from 2020 to now and his nose doesn't look any longer, and his pants as far as I can tell are not even slightly on fire, so that concludes the matter. Poor Brad. Justice for Brad. Maybe he can dress up as Batman and climb a monument or something? You could help him pick out his costume (or he could borrow yours?)

None of us know what happened inside someone else's relationship... Not sure why some people are pretending they do.

1) The adult offspring. They will have their reasons. That's the list. I'm not interested in a parent's banal, defensive bull**** boo-hoo views on why their kids don't want anything to do with them ![]() You're not entitled to a relationship with your adult children any more than you're entitled to a relationship with anyone else. You build and maintain one with communication, trust and respect. He did not provide that, and he lost them (emotionally). Maybe he can win them back if he genuinely tries? WHo knows, that's their business. Getting defensive and making excuses isn't a good starting place. To be fair to him - I actually don't know what he's had to say about it for himself, just the defensiveness being projected onto the situation by other people making assumptions about "parental alienation by a nasty woman". Sad, and so so predictable. Last edited by user104658; 03-06-2024 at 02:40 PM. |

Remembering Kerry

It really is up to her.
It's sad if there's any rift with her Father. I don't think many years ago I'd have expected this at all as to Brad Pitt and his children. |

Personally? I don't know anyone this has happened to who didn't **** around and find out. Took for granted that their kids would accept poor or low-effort behaviour from them and would still stay in their lives, and then get real sad about it all of a sudden when it turns out not to be the case. OF COURSE they're going to tell other people that they didn't and couldn't possibly have seen it coming. When people cut out family they invariably have a good reason for doing so. It's really that simple. People don't abandon good family relationships over night on a whim. Last edited by user104658; 03-06-2024 at 03:37 PM. |

Yes we already know you fully believe it happens. Like I said LT it's OK, whatever you need to believe to get you through the evening. They just suddenly turned on their doting dads. It was completely random and unexpected. There is literally no explanation for it

Yes. Some people are willing to accept poor behaviour from their family out of a misguided sense of duty and family loyalty, and are more sensible and hold the relationships they choose to keep in their lives to a higher standard.
Like I said, some parents seem to believe they're "owed" an ongoing relationship with their kids (and grandkids) and that it's immoral for people to refuse to put up with being insulted and mistreated and cut contact. And they get really huffy when they find out that's not actually true, and that they can rightly be told to **** off. Boo hoo. |

Unless you lived with them in their house, and were in every room where every conversation took place, no you did not. You heard 2nd hand information from them about how it played out, and chose to believe one side over the other. It cannot possibly be any other way. NO ONE knows the full truth about what has been said or done behind closed doors. Again, you just (understandably) trust the account of events given by the person close to you, and saw the effect it had on them. You don't "know". No one "knows" about other people's relationships. It's purely observational.

No-one knows what has happened in this case on either side. Brad could have been an arse,Angelina could have poisoned the kids minds. All I know is its very sad when parental / child relationships break down and I hope in time it can be resolved.
