That's the list. I'm not interested in a parent's banal, defensive bull**** boo-hoo views on why their kids don't want anything to do with them . No one would have been able to "turn them against him" if he had a good, solid, close relationship with them prior to the relationship breakdown. She was not a small child.

You're not entitled to a relationship with your adult children any more than you're entitled to a relationship with anyone else. You build and maintain one with communication, trust and respect. He did not provide that, and he lost them (emotionally). Maybe he can win them back if he genuinely tries? WHo knows, that's their business. Getting defensive and making excuses isn't a good starting place.

To be fair to him - I actually don't know what he's had to say about it for himself, just the defensiveness being projected onto the situation by other people making assumptions about "parental alienation by a nasty woman". Sad, and so so predictable.

Hope it never happens to you. from my experience you won't see it coming...
