Remembering Kerry
|
What's astounded me again in this election and being out campaigning.
Is the high number of people and I'm talking all ages here. Who haven't a clue about our voting process. How to get a postal vote . How to register. People who've moved to a different area and didn't realise they needed to register in the new area. People who have never heard of a proxy vote. Plus, the high number asking what you have to do in the polling station. Adding in to, the times I've said could they be persuaded to support Labour this time. Then getting the response, they thought Labour held that seat anyway Loads more who hadn't a clue who their MP even was. It's unbelievable how poorly educated UK citizens are as to our voting processes in elections. Last edited by joeysteele; 04-07-2024 at 07:29 AM. |
