That’s absolutely what it comes down to. Not seeing people as human, but seeing them as a political belief. It’s awful. And the sad thing is it’s on both sides. I can honestly say that I have always fought for people to look beyond political opinions and just see people for who they are.
I have friends and family all over the political spectrum. Not one of them has ever hated on me for my sexuality or personal beliefs and I even know some crazy maga ppl.
I just hate all the name calling, the baiting and the pettiness this brings from all sides of politics.
Being happy a firefighter is dead and calling him a nazi because he was a trump supporter…. It’s just gross and tells me a lot about you as a person
I always wonder how many of these people who just look for a reason to hate on republicans/democrats have ever actually been to America and experienced what it’s truly like, not just what the media feeds you
I remember being so nervous to move to the south of America because of all the **** I heard. It turned out to be the friendliest place I had ever lived. They had a pride parade yearly and where I lived in the UK didn’t even celebrate it yet. I met amazing people of all races, backgrounds, political alignments etc and honestly, the only really crazy stuff I hear is from people on the internet
