I don't mind the spiders, they get rid of flies. We had a pet spider last year, we named him Boris....he was a beast. I miss him, I don't even know when he left us

He's gone mating. He'll be back for your flies when he gets hungry.

This happened to me at the weekend, somehow disturbed them and I was surrounded. I have half a dozen stings on my legs, stung me through my jeans, the little ****ers. Wasps are the skinhead of the insect world.

Stood on a wasps' nest at the local park when I was 11... that was an experience. They chased me and a friend all the way home, stung numerous times and can also report that getting stung on the top of the head is the WORST wasp sting, there were 3 in my hair .

I love wasps, people treat them so cruelly trapping them in glasses and the like. They are very important to the ecosystem

Yeah people think they're just pests but they actually eat other bugs too (that eat the pretty plants) so they have their place.

I've also started letting the "skinny legs" spiders live in my house because I find them less bad than the big fat spiders, they tend to stay in their little corners instead of running around the place, and I read that if they're there the other chonkier spiders stay away. So they've become a necessary evil in my house. Keeping themselves to themselves, being left alone, and in return, guarding me from the big nasty spiders.
