Same. There’s always the possibility that he is showing more but the producers don’t wanna show it. His comments about women will get more attention after all

His talk in the diary room. I blinked and it turned to him talking about loving spending time with women. Wonder what he's like on the outside. Is it everyday a new woman or has he had a long term relationship or none at all.

This is true, and I do believe that once the producers identify an aspect of a housemate that will generate interest, discussion and views, they will focus their footage on it.

However, the guy still made the comments they showed, and he still chose to claim to have a certain way of thinking about, and treating, women. Those facts don’t change even when there will be other aspects of his character that we don’t see.

In all honesty, he must be old enough and aware enough to know how reality shows work, and how certain comments made or actions taken, can create an undesirable impression of an individual, that can last for much longer than the length of of the series?

Therefore, I wonder if he proud of the ‘Lothario’ image he his presenting, and mistakenly believes that will win him fans and support?

@ bold; I think this is certainly true. ITV does seem to not do it as unapologetically as C5, but they obviously have to manage them as storylines to show how individual narratives are progressing within the house. Though, I think that in Marcello's case his persona is not getting away from him at all, but rather what we see is of his own crafting. It's hard not to want to see highlights of this as it gives clear evidence as to how he intends to play the game. I suspect he really thinks he's signed up for a different type of show. The producers may have also signed him for exactly that reason, in that he really believe he's some kind of crafty gameplayer, whereas he hasn't yet realized how it's usually the HMs themselves that get played by their own games...

He's still not as bad yet as other past HMs that ended up getting ejected for crossing similar social lines. But we shall see.

Oddly enough he was extra sleezy with Rosie and Hanah last night after drinking ..

Hanah just laughed off all the comments but sadly Rosie soaked them up like a giggly schoolgirl when she was alone with him- unpleasant viewing imho

So far.

But I think as the complaints mount, and the smiles are wiped from the female housemates' faces, then he's in trouble.

But so far he's seen as a joker, someone who crosses the line but that could all end soon.
