For me, it gets better as time goes on. When there's less people in there you get to know them better. It wouldn't be the same though with, say, 6 people on launch night. It's the progression through the series that really makes the difference and the public input, although slightly manipulative sometimes, gives a chance for it to be immersive. I do have to make sure I watch the live shows otherwise I have to avoid social media.
I wouldn't change it for the world in it's present format.
