In a house of 15 people how awful is it if someone is coming across as trying to be too nice, as Khalid is supposedly doing? Does it even matter? It might matter to viewers who want rows and drama but I can’t see it being a big thing for a resident HM with 14 other people in the house to focus on, many of them having worse traits and habits than being ‘too nice’.

Imo it wasn't at all appropriate for Ali to speak to him in such a superior and dismissive way “you can go back to your party” etc, and when she confronted him later (which she should have done in private instead of belittling him in front of his mates) she was so patronising and icy cold.
I just think the whole thing was vindictive and unnecessary.
