Who is in charge in that relationship?

Is Lily secretly intelligent and only pretending to be dumb and running Ali? Or is Ali manipulating and using Lily because she is aware of how she is seen as childlike and generally liked in the house?

Or are they equally in on it and have simply formed an unspoken alliance?

Lily is just parroting what Ali says. She admitted that in the DR when she said Ali is basically a mind-reader so what she says must be true. Lily doesn't seem to be able to articulate any opinions on Khaled which are independent of what Ali has said to her

Ali knows that Lily will automatically agree with her in ways that other housemates wouldn't so Lily is useful to her for that reason

No, Lily was the one as far as I can see who started following Ali around. I think people aren't giving Lily enough credit, she was the one who started the nomination talk with Daze as well.

Lily really is thick as 2 planks ,I face palmed so much when she described Ali as a " mind reader" . When nobody is a mind reader....Ali may think she has special powers but she hasn't, all she does is cold reads people.. similar to what charlatans / so called psychics do ,and magicians. They all use similar tricks .

The difference is Ali is supposed to have studied the psychology of it in a academic way. People think she's
clever, therefore she must be correct in her analysis of
people .

Does she realise these housemates are not her subject ,and Khaled is not a frog in a lab for her to dissect.

…I know…and working at a primary school as well…they just come up, they wipe their noses on your clothes or your hand or whatever’s closest…then off they go without a care in the world …so you find an escape world from the trauma…and that escape world is called Big Brother…life is such a bag of cruelty and weird humour…
