Yeah i found that pushy and weird aswell , BP shut him down straight away. Can tell he is NOT her type whatsoever. Nathan is desperate for a showmance.

But also the more i think about it , i'm now wondering... if Martha's comment is making her paranoid now? . When Martha went grovelling around her....... she used the excuse of "Nathan" in the mix , it was all garbled of course (as we know Martha is talking absolute sh1t), and the way she said to BP aswell "don't get too much in your head" .

I think it's put BP on a back footing , and she's perhaps worried how she's being perceived now with Nathan and this showmance cringefest. That's partly my theory anyway... but before all that it was always contrived & fake
anyway between them .
