Martha was ten times more aggresive than Hanah. It was Martha poking the fire all the time with her snidey comments, all hanah was doing was getting frustrated at the imbeciles inability to grasp hanahs point of why she ignored her repeated requests to say if she heard anything.

Exactly. Once Martha said that she made it worse and Hanah then reacted which prolonged the whole thing. She should have just kept her cake hole shut.

…yeah for sure that’s true that some personalities can feel the need to make up quickly, they don’t like any bad vibes ‘hanging’, you know…whereas Hanah obviously isn’t that personality…she needs distance from that person but she also I think, needs to process the events etc….I think with Martha, it just feels a bit on or off, type thing …it all got quite ‘spiteful’ and then…oh, besties…you look amazing and I think that would be difficult to respond to…

Both Martha & Nathan kept forcing / pressuring Hanah to say it , like poking a bear or hornets nest . Nathan pointed his finger at Hanah like he was calling a dog over to him...who does he think he is with his " come here Hanah", like he was beckoning a dog... before that the whole thing could have been dropped.

But Lily kept going on about it , like a spoilt child having a tantrum. She needs to grow up ,and Martha kept prolonging it .

Emma was a diamond for basically instantly shutting down gobby Martha & cord sore Nathan, Emma isn't daft...she saw straight through Martha's BS. I'm so glad Emma spoke common sense .

I had mixed feelings on her but after the way she acted in the Red Witch episode and in this most recent one I'm not a fan and would like her to leave. It was less the argument between her and Martha that bothered me (a lot about the way she expressed herself wasn't on, but her primary point was right) and more her gleefully singing 'her plan did not succeed!' etc upstairs. I just find the vitriol she expresses towards Ali in particular very uncomfortable to watch. I understand why she'd have issues with her, but the way she goes about expressing it seems so cruel and extreme.

If I was her I would have acted the same way. I have no problem with speaking your mind, if others don't like it they can get effed.

God awful Martha was shiit stirring as usual and tried to paint a narrative around Hanah. It was totally out of order and very sly. Hanah only lost her composure when Martha made the "get Segun your wing man" comment. I would have been fuming too.

I have no issues understanding Hanah whatsoever because I went to school and grew up around hundreds of people like her.

That's your typical Somali-London accent. She uses A LOT of slang though. Somali Londoners have a very obvious accent. If they talk fast and use heavy slang they can be pretty hard to understand to the untrained ear.

I think she tries to be eloquent but her "ghetto" side comes out and she doesn't properly enunciate.

If a working class or cultural accent automatically stops you even starting to listen to a person than that may be something to work on.

It’s her problem not mine ..

I don’t appreciate the subtle suggestion of racism either .. If you remember last series I was Trish’s biggest fan .. right to the end and beyond

Martha then antagonised the situation further by saying "Go get your wingman".

Emma then chipped in and suddenly she's the voice of reason. Hanah said thank you to Emma because she explained it better in a calmer way. Everyone was like "OH"!!!
It shouldn't even need to be explained though.

Martha, Nathan, and Dean should all be ashamed of themselves for just not seeing Hanah's point of view by themselves.

That's not how an argument/debate is meant to be judged, but granted most people do make your mistake tbf.

In my view it should always be who's points that you agree with is the winner of the discussion.

Hanah effectively saying “I’ve told you I don’t want to hear it so stop talking” despite having absolute free will to remove herself is very different IMO.

I have criticised Ali on numerous occasions - on her treatment of Khaled, on her not being very fun., etc…butI don’t believe Ali’s request for housemates not to talk about ejaculation around her when she couldn’t leave the conversation was unreasonable in the slightest.
Every Housemate when being forced to sit in the Living Room by BB has to hear conversations that they're personally not interested in, and after all of the Seasons that BBUK has made, only one Housemate was precious enough to kick up a stink about a conversation taking in place when she couldn't move away from the chat, and that's Ali.

And she actually could've ignored him by striking up her own conversation with other people that weren't interested in Marcello's chat.

And don't get me wrong I do find Marcello a bit much sometimes with the sex talk, but Ali had options to ignore his chat, she just chose not to take it.

I think there is a distinct difference between not being personally interested in and feeling uncomfortable with. Additionally, we don't know this hasn't happened before and just not been televised, that's an assumption. Perhaps it has, and Marcello has been the only person who objected to it hence why it made TV. Maybe it's happened many times and the other HMs have said "Sorry, course, lets change the subject".

Marcello has said a few times now he objects to people telling him what he is talking about makes them uncomfortable, which I find major red flags especially for a youth worker in his mid-30s. I am the same age as Marcello. I would want to know if a topic I am discussing is making someone uncomfortable as I'd hate for them to feel that way and know not to discuss it with them moving forward.

I think the issue with what happened with this conversation is two-fold: Ali went about it the wrong way. Instead of saying "Please can you not talk about Marcello wanking, I find it uncomfortable, do you mind if we change the subject" she used her job as the reason. Perhaps she thought that might feel more credible but it didn't.

The second I think is the subject matter. I think sex is so widely spoken about now that many people don't understand it when others find it an uncomfortable thing to have to listen to someone discussing.

I haven't taken note of it closely enough to scrutinize the exact proportion, but he is often making these jokes with other straight women as an audience, so that's one part of it. If it had come from one of those ladies and seen as unattractive by one or more, and otherwise not reciprocated, he would very likely stop. Therefore, her being a lesbian is a likely factor. If other women are rewarding him with attention, then Ali's opinion might as well be nonexistent since she isn't the intended audience and her disapproval doesn't have sway with any of the other girls.

Marcello's overall thing seems to be he likes to match energy with other people where he finds affinity with those others and that means literally everything... he likes an open book, etc.

I'm only going off whatever has made the BB highlights over the Seasons, and Ali is the only one that I can think of that's kicked up a stink about sex chats/uncomfortable conversations when BB has asked the Housemates to be seated in the Living Area.

Obviously there might be other examples like you've said, but as I don't know what they are, I can't really judge something that might or might not exist.

For me I personally wouldn't deliberately have one on one chats with someone about a topic that they're personally uncomfortable with (as that's extremely rude and inappropriate imo) but I do ultimately think that Ali should've just ignored his chat, I don't think that she had the right to tell him off for having that chat and I will stand by that.

And I do agree with you that she definitely came at him in the wrong way.

Well aware this won't be a popular opinion.

She's sullen, miserable, not an ounce of joy in her. She comes across as very entitled.

She'd be one of the worst and most undeserving finalists ever if she gets that far. And a very disappointing winner God forbid! Such a shame she was saved and replaced.

Waste of a housemate.
