…I watched season 1 yesterday, I love it because obviously the humour is sharp and fits with the characters so well but there’s also obviously a really somber/sober storyline running through as well so that we engage more deeply with the characters and their stories of why they’ve come to the group…

Spoiler:

…Cutter, is it..?…the ex police force guy…?..he’s like this borderline psycho with a heart of gold……I mean, he’s likeable but you’d also run a mile from him…

Ah glad you like it, yeah I agree the characters are very funny and quirky, damaged but good people really underneath the gruffness

….ive started to watch, I watched a few episodes in the evening yesterday and it’s very easy to watch…it’s a bit different in that the one goosebumps story continues throughout, whereas the older goosebumps series had a different story each episode, didn’t it…and that didn’t leave so much room for development of the story or characters…so this is different and I like it…(inspired by @Glenn, I’ve also started to watch Modern Family…)…because I can dip in and out of that and I’m still watching Loudermilk and Severance…but I feel as though I need a few atm because some of them I’m watching in real time so I need those fillers…

Yeah, I finished S1, S2 is a different story.

Never watched Modern Family. I need to watch Ep3 of Severence, it's a bit of a pain to have wait a week each time, i was late starting that so I was able to binge through S1

…the watching in real time is why I always found it difficult to get into series back in the day…but then I binge watched The Walking Dead, which was great until I got to the catch up and then I didn’t get the same enjoyment, I have to say….i loved Breaking Bad because it was a complete series so there was no waiting…there is so much on TV and so much going on in life as well that it’s so easy to forget to watch episodes is the thing so, so many unfinished ones…I’m liking Loudermilk still and dipping in and out of that but it’s not enough of a storyline to not have other stuff as well….Severance is really going at a good pace but I think that for me it’s a storyline that would benefit more from a binge watch to keep the momentum going because it’s quite layered and complex….

Yeah Loudermilk is more sitcom about the people than a really addictive storyline going on

…I just finished Goosebumps/The Vanishing…I enjoyed it ok, it wasn’t riveting but the story zipped along and was very watchable..the only big thing that I became obsessed with, though…

…I’ve just started to watch Apple Cider Vinegar on Netflix…it’s a true story which I’m vaguely aware of but haven’t really read up on it…not loving it but I’ll stay with it for the moment…

It holds your attention, it's not as gruesome as I thought it'd be (yet at least, I'm on Ep 4) but still pretty disturbing. It explores how far people will go for money.

….there’s another TV show called Beast Games that I watched a bit of a few months ago…rather than challenges, it’s about temptations and how much cash people will be tempted by….I only watched a few episodes but check it out as it’s a similar concept…

I am sooooo late to this but Matthew and I have been watching all The Walking Dead seasons and have just finished the final episode.

I kind of feel bereft now....we have watched it every night more or less for months and now it's over. I do t normally invest in long series like this but matthew wanted to watch it and we were hooked from the start.

Got all the spin offs to watch now but loved the main show

….awwwwww, that was my first long series watch as well and like you both, I was totally lost in it for a few weeks or however long it was to catch up to real time…it’s such a terrific binge watch series and was then difficult to watch in real time and have to wait…Fear the Walking Dead is a good spin off but I haven’t watched them all…I started to watch one recently and haven’t finished it yet/couldn’t quite get into it but I will go back to it…I think there are some good ones but I can’t access them all on my streaming services…anyway, happy watching the spin-offs…you’re officially a Walker defeating warrior now…

…mind you on Walking Dead, the walkers are very, very slow compared to other zombies so that helps….

Haha...yeah we loved it. We watched the first episodes of the spin off The Ones Who Live last night. It's only 6 episodes so am going to do that first before committing to Fear the Walking Dead with multiple seasons again.

…I have to say that I’m still not a real time watching fan, I’m a firm binger…the thing I probably engross and love most in a storyline is character progression/development and The Walking Dead and Breaking Bad plots were both perfect for that…and binging really highlights the development of characters, I think….

I completely agree. I wouldn't have watched it all if I had to wait a week between episodes and the a break at the end of each season.

It has completely dictated our lives for the last few months.....but we've never moaned about having nothing to watch

…in real time as well, it was usually split into two parts with an added mid season break of several months…so around 14 episodes-ish per season but shown over several months because of the break…(…and an added mid season cliff hanger as well…)…I stopped watching for a while and then caught up when it was complete and I could binge again…

…haha and you’re hooked…….I havent watched season 2 yet, although I did enjoy the first season, I also found it quite ‘forgettable’ if that makes sense so haven’t felt the pull to catch up…I probably will though at some point soon…glad you enjoyed, CeeCee…
