we dont really celebrate it though I have picked up a fancy dinner for 2 from the butchers
a few weeks back I was in the corner shop and two young boys probably 10 to 12 were looking at the boxes of chocolates, one of the boys brought one to the counter but he did not have enough money, I heard him saying he had 6.90 so nosily I asked him who he was buying for and he said it was for Valentines for his GF so I told him to bring it on and he put his money on the counter, a fiver and a load of change
so I took the fiver paid the balance and gave him back the rest .... ...I remember being in a shop when I was about 7 and I was buying some penny sweets and my neighbour came in and bought me a bar of peppermint Aero I have never forgotten that gesture ....
