I understand the sentiment behind people not wanting to invalidate her sexuality etc but she is still young, she has dated men before and she did previously identify as pansexual I believe. She's also said she's not sure about her gender identity so there could definitely be some all round confusion there. It shouldn't be fully off limits to say that. Plus she's also spoken quite sympathetically about polygamy

Yeah, crazy how quickly people want to shut those down questioning her relationship with Chris. Still they'll be the ones with egg on their faces. It's quite obvious she's sexually attracted to Chris. Her partner is probably low key mortified by what's she's seeing. The HL shows play it down, as do L&L, but the live feed every night paints a completely different picture.

Also she's only been in a new relationship for a matter of months and her partner lives on the other side of the world, it's not like they've been together for years

Maybe she’s spent too long with her LGBT friends and non binary / pan sexual guys so when she’s spent time with a normal , straight guy in Chris … it’s actually blown her mind to what she’s possibly been missing

By the same token, she might not want to call herself a lesbian as her girlfriend identifies as nonbinary, so she doesn't want to invalidate her gender identity.

Yeah she's one discussion with her partner away from getting into polyamory herself. Saying one is open to complexities of sexual identity/different types of relationships and then acting flirtatiously with other people at random, imo, they're using reasons for "exploration" is a social certificate to cheat, basically...

I hate to say it, but domestic rates are higher for lesbian/bisexual women, so that could be a valid concern.

I think this is key here - people are making assumptions that her partner would have an issue with it even if something is going on, we have no idea if that's the case at all, we have no idea what the expectations or boundaries of that relationship are and whether or not there's an issue with it is entirely their business.

I have an issue with Chris' behaviour because I find him emotionally manipulative and think he knows fine well what he's doing. I don't think there would be an issue beyond that. Her sexuality and the confines of her other relationships are really not relevant to anyone else... most people are just coming from a perspective of "well I wouldn't like it if it was MY partner!" and I fully agree with that... it's not for me, either, at this level - I don't think close male/female friendships are an issue and the hugging/comforting/messing around is all fine, the upper thigh rubs and thinly-coded conversations are where it goes "too far for me". BUT. That's my feelings and my relationship an there should be no expectation that other people's relationships follow the same "rules". There are no "rules".

I think people take the reaction to Mickey's comments as evidence that Jojo's partner would be against this but there's really no evidence of that. Mickey made Jojo feel uncomfortable and made comments that upset her. That's the difference. She wasn't "flirting with Mickey" he was being gross.

When Mickey said that old jokey line about being able to ‘turn’ JoJo the whole LBGT world went crazy as he was making light of her lesbianism … move forward a few days and she’s practically married to Chris




( they are actually more affectionate and physically compatible than some married couples)
