Totally dismissed by Ms Reeves.
This policy today though I see as well, awful.
The shaking of heads of care home heads said it all for me.
I haven't a clue what this government is.
Not a clue.
I had a personal dream to go into politics, I'd just about made the choice that would be with Labour.
However I cannot support this now looking more like anti immigration stance of this policy, and the more scapegoating of migrants.
My membership of the Labour party, I have terminated today.
Jeremy Corbyn today in parliament asked the purpose of this policy, and ended saying was it more just to please the Reform lot unfortunately sitting in front of him.
I think he was right to that last point.
The UK is now in my view, going down a very dangerously slippery road on scapegoating other human beings from other Countries and cultures by particularly Farage and Reform, for the failure of government decisions taken AND this ridiculous electoral system.
I'm now done with politics.
My votes now and all I'll do as trying to persuade friends and relatives on voting in future, will be to vote wherever, whenever for the best candidate, immaterial of Party, who would be best placed to beat any of Farage's Reform lot.
I really hate their divisive and scapegoating of migrants rhetoric.
Jeremy Corbyn, absolutely right today that this is another case of just pandering to their creating suspicion and fuelling hate against other human beings on Earth.
Politics now, definitely not for me.
In fact it's extremely sad to see where the UK could be heading now.
Nowhere nice at all in my view with the usual 2 main Parties charging up the backsides of Farage and the worryingly sinister Reform lot.

So sorry to hear that Joey, dont lose hope, you are one of the good ones, I can imagine that many MPs are in dismay and there is a growing rebellion about PIP cuts, I have a feeling Starmer wont go the distance as PM? He and Reeves are terrible, though I will say he does seem to come into his own with foreign affairs, but domestically he is totally out of touch
