It's the Anime Elitist and Incel sides of the community that are my issue currently with Anime fans, and the latter side of it do fall under saying a lot of Homophobic stuff on MAL.

I still think that's one of the most LGBT-friendly parts of the "community" (*gag*), but I'm not that deeply involved in any of it . The anime-loving demographic does have a pedophilia problem though for the obvious... I'm going to a convention soon though, so I'll be on the lookout for suspiciously painted benches, vandals and other signs of overtly rampant homophobia... it'll certainly give me something extra to do.
