You’re describing consequences, not protests. And that’s exactly the point. British paedophiles face shame after the fact, quietly, behind prison walls or in tabloid headlines. There are no mobs, no riots, no flaming bins in the street demanding justice, unless the accused is foreign.

So let’s not pretend this is about some deeply held moral code. If it were, the outrage would be consistent. Instead, it’s selective, loudest when there’s a scapegoat with a different accent. That’s not “baked-in values,” that’s opportunistic rage dressed up as virtue.

Well in the case of British paedos, what is there to protest, specifically? They're not illegally entering a country and then being housed for free.

You’ve just confirmed exactly what I was saying: it’s not about the crime, it’s about the convenient outrage when the accused isn’t British. When a British man abuses a child, it’s prison and disgust. When it’s a migrant, suddenly it’s banners, riots, and “send them back” chants.

So no, this isn’t about child protection. It’s about weaponising tragedy to push an agenda. If it were truly about the victims, the protests would be just as loud no matter who committed the crime. But we both know they’re not.

The Chief of Essex Police has now publically thanked the people of Epping for their peaceful protest, doesn't sound like a riot to me.

10 people were arrested, we don't know who they are protesters, counter protesters, paid agitators

As gross as it is that such nice hotels are being wasted thusly ... I'd rather it be people who can likely afford a last minute room elsewhere, than those who had to scrimp and save to get a Travelodge or something, and could never afford something else at that notice.

These were people who had prior bookings, but had received no notification from the hotel, I guess the sacked staff were a bit annoyed so didn't bother?

A Pakistani man, two sets of Chinese couples and a young man on his own I am sure there were many more, the young man said he has paid 80.00 so its wasn't exactly expensive for Canary Wharf

Can you imagine landing after a long flight, making your way to your hotel in the evening and not even getting an explanation, the doors were locked and the people inside had probably no clue what to say

The Government has agreed for the Essex County Council elections in 2025 to
be suspended in light of the proposed Local Government Reform and the
creation of an Essex Mayor.

The County Council elections in May 2025 will now not go ahead. There are no
planned elections in the Epping Forest district until 2026 following last years all
out elections.

A few small protests in Leeds, Norwich and somewhere else.

Glasgow live tomorrow.

Scottish polis take no ****. Should be interesting to see how the citizen journalists travelling up from england get on.

Football season coming up soon.

Interesting opinion ...funny how you never hear about football thugs fighting immigrants on a Saturday afternoon, considering the name they get on here. Maybe now there is a massively more visible presence in the town centres of immigrants since last summer things may be different this year. Will the police cope,?

I'm expecting very visible high sentences for anyone involved in trouble up to kick off day to deter anyone on a Saturday from kicking off with the immigrants instead of the locals...Burnley, Leeds and Sunderland being visited by every massive team in the land, with the likes of Chelsea amd west ham. Bournmouths turned shite as well, almost unrecognizable.

I don't know what procedures they go through on arrival, but i think at a minimum everyone that arrives without documentation should be fitted with an ankle monitor. There is plenty justification for that
Plus we do need to do background checks, before even considering letting any of the illegal immigrants to stay in the country for a prolonged period of time.

Question

"an elite team of police officers"

But

There was no ‘Elite police Squad’ protecting the Southport victims.

There was no ‘Elite police Squad’ protecting the Grooming gang victims.

There is no ‘Elite police Squad’ protecting our borders.

But now there is an ‘Elite police Squad’ monitoring your opinions on X

Do you find that odd?
