Today is a declaration, it as a stand fear, just like Islam, you believe and follow what you believe or die.

Love wins NOTHING. The far modern psychotic left hate, they hate so much they want to , and do kill opposition.

So while the far left rejoices at the death of a political opponent, just remember, love no longer wins, it's dying.

He was a bit of a troll, he questioned certain things, he wasnt a world leader, he had NO official political power. And you, yes YOU, shot him dead because you didn't like what he was saying.

Your parents fought for free speech. Shame on YOU!

Not a fan of most of his opinions but no one deserves to be shot and killed for opinions and wanting to debate.

…it’s an horrific taking of a life …looking back a few moments ago at some vid of him just before this violent shooting, just chatting with those around him and preparing for the event etc…and obviously not realising that those would be the final moments of his life…heartbreaking/shocking …and his loved ones will replay and relive those moments with him again and again…just a senseless/mindless taking of a life….

Exclamation 2 seconds from death

2 seconds from death, a father of 2

From scrappy activist to election-swinging heavyweight: no millennial (barring JD Vance) had more of an impact on the Trump-era Republican Party than Charlie Kirk. Today, in a moment that has sent shockwaves throughout the Maga movement, footage from a Utah college event showed Kirk being shot at from the crowd. The instant outpouring of support and concern for Kirk from the president and his Cabinet showed his enormous significance. Donald Trump announced his death a few hours later.

The terrible irony is that Kirk’s star rose through his willingness to place himself in the centre of nominally hostile liberal spaces

If men like Charlie Kirk can’t even speak to American students without fearing a gunman in the crowd, America is in a far more dangerous place than anyone has so far been willing to concede.

Just went back to the killing of democrat Melissa Hortman and her husband.

I also went back to the thread on here and a lot of members who have been so vocal in this thread are nowhere to be found there.

These are comments from the Right on the assassination of Melissa Hortman and her husband. Just for a bit of perspective for you

@user888414142131: thank you president trump!!!

@Kostas Papadopoulos: Democrats will do anything to tear this country apart
@Johnstone: Democrats violent rhetoric causes this

@Bald Woman Lover: my prayers and condolences for the shooter and he shooters family as they get through these trying times

@kobeowns: We need more of this. Lawmakers have betrayed and stolen from the American people for decades
@brenda Tibbettsrusty:

I’d say the right was just as big a problem.

I know this is only internet clout to you, but I feel really hurt when I see political violence in my own country. I thought of her and her family for days and yes, it did not receive a whole lot of coverage. Our media—all of it—has very different priorities than the average American and its interests. These events still take me back to 9/11 every single time and how we seem to have gotten so far away from where we were before our worldview was forcibly changed overnight. Every political interest group came out of the woodwork to take advantage of our common interest and still seem intent on breaking us apart.

I think when we don't see average Americans coming out in major support for the country in what used to be a joyful way and mutual way, I think a lot of that has been because we've become so accustomed to seeing our emotional reactions being manipulated and abused for some other interest.

Not internet clout at all. Just Correcting the same people who have jumped right in with the left is evil crap.
There’s lunatics on both the right side and left side.

But now’s not the time for making this about who is to blame.

A child has lost its father today.

The left killed someone today who was exercising free speech. It wasn't hateful, it was opposing speech. I wasn't hateful, it was opposing speech.

The left once stood for free speech. Now, they're opponents of free speech. You have surpassed the historic tories, your demand to conform is now Nazi like.

Also the shooter hasn’t even been found or identified. So the left and right angle really isn’t applicable

I agree with you in general, Glenn. I do think that's it's normal for people to have perfectly natural reactions to things in their own unique way. The same way a Muslim community might feel like they're under siege every time there's a terror attack, they know people are going to come out looking to blame them. And yes, political violence obviously has a different effect to people on both sides. For all we know though, the dude was right-leaning (wouldn't matter, Charlie Kirk is dead). If it were an LGBT killing, I wouldn't be ****ing bothered at all if certain people were upset that God forbid someone would shoot someone who shares their status. I would find that very difficult not take it personally, also.

Again, if we're part of a group that is a victim of violence, it's hard not to have a personal reaction. This is fine! Hopefully it eventually sinks in to others that this could happen to them. There's no worldview, public policy or perfect security that keeps one 100% safe. Trump's security team found out about a Glock the other day that got through security. (Pretty sure he has better security than most of us) If enough people are intent to kill someone, they will continue to try to find a way. Hopefully it makes people think.
