I admit to being completely ignorant on the illegal immigrants / asylum seekers/ daily boat people .. .

I do see videos online most days highlighting the trouble caused by some of the above though .


Also in all the tv and online coverage of these thousands of illegal boat people landing on our shores each and every week … you never see any families .. no women.. no children ..

Just young , healthy/strong looking men of fighting age - and it confuses & concerns me in equal measures !!!!


If they are are fleeing war torn countries or whatever why are they leaving behind the really vulnerable ones - it makes no sense



If we were seeing boat loads of families maybe even some grandparents as well I would feel far more charitable towards them rather than the underlying fear I do now
