Immortality, I think there'd always be way to keep life interesting providing you have your health. Just think of all the change you'd get to witness every generation as well

Not necessarily immortality as a single long lifespan, but life followed by death, followed by rebirth, followed by death and rebirth ad infinitum. If this is of interest, you may wish to look at the novels "Replay" by Ken Grimwood, "The first fifteen lives of Harry August" (Claire North), "To your scattered bodies go" and other novels of the Riverworld cycle by Philip Jose Farmer, "Life after life" by Kate Atkinson etc. Grimwood's "Replay" was first published in the USA in 1986 and is, probably, the finest example of the genre.

…oh thank you for that Hetty, that’s very kind of you to give those recommendations…..I think that I’ll add either Replay or The Fifteen Lives of Harry August to my upcoming reads…(…or maybe both…)…with Life After Life…?…I see that it was made into a series in 2022 so I’m going to see if it’s on any of the streaming sites I have and if it is, I’ll watch it…I really do appreciate you taking the time……

…(…because it’s showing on BBC iplayer..)…I’m watching the dramatised series of Life after Life/Kate Atkinson…I’ve watched the first episode so far…(I think there are 4 episodes in all…)…and it’s completely absorbing…it’s not something that I would have ever found on the site, without your mentioning and recommending it so thank you so much for that…
