And some silly excuse about timing issues, when she did fine last year with the timing stuff...and the show was more rushed then.

She won't be miming so the point that she can't sing is moot.

It's more to do with her nerves, it's her first live performance alone in years and it's in front of the second biggest TV audience of a show this year. If she started with a smaller audience and worked her way up she might not have been so intimidated. Plus she's advertising her single so she can't pull off a bad performance.

Last year there wasn't another guest and a group performance though so it's argubly more rushed preparation wise. If it was any other artist they wouldn't get any flack over it. She's singing, not miming. The only thing is that the performance will be pre-recorded. It's something that a lot of artists do and I'll be sure to point some out to some of the people in this thread next time their favourite performers lip sync or pre-record their performances because it's all contradictory really.
