Act like what? I'm talking about men and the bigger picture now... how there's a huge shift in the roles and dynamics between the sexes and we're really struggling to keep up, always resorting to stereotypes and derogatory terms to help us feel secure in our manliness. We need to grow up fast.... I really think we do.

Most people do though. The media concentrates on minorities, but yes the role of women has changed for the better. But they will always find something to complain about.

Sorry, I had to go out shopping but I wasn't done here.

Women have never been more sensible or mature than men, it just SEEMED that way because we were oppressed for so long -- so saying to a woman that she isn't very "lady like" is quite a redundant thing to say nowadays. You know what, I don't even know what it really means? How is a lady "supposed" to act? Maybe some of you men could enlighten me?

And it's a pretty poor argument to say that women should not "act like drunken slags" because there's a chance they could be raped. Maybe we should all stay at home because we could get run over. Or hell, why don't we all just kill ourselves now because we're going to die anyway? Actually, ever thought that perhaps men should just not rape in the first place?

Can't really see how the physical thing is an issue either. We have women police officers, detectives, fire fighters etc. - and aren't American women allowed to fight on the front line?

Personally, I wouldn't want to do it - probably too much of a coward - but if women want to risk their lives for their country - that is their right! Their life, their decision, their right! They are not children that need protecting!

lol, well physically men are stronger, it's a fact of life, my husband is a fireman and works with 3 women and they always take the less physical jobs
