Tigers "career" is not just the game of golf as he is pro tour golfer and his image and character are integral to his success package. The game of golf has incredibly high standards in terms of "playing the game" - there is a lot of honour involved etc

To be caught cheating a tiny bit (ie fractionally touching the sand with your club in a bunker and not mentioning it) can utterly ruin a career full stop, and has.

Now Tiger has not cheated in golf but he has done the bext worse thing and that is your family (in golf terms).

he will never recover. dont forget tiger is a grumpy unhappy player but people forgave him because he was untouchable. this has now ended and he will have to now deal with the wrath.
