Just sounds like a bitter NME columnist that a manufactured act is more successful than Arctic Monkeys. Out of 6 series, just THREE have been commercially successful. Thats out of 69 contestants X Factor has ever spewed out. And this years lot don't look like they are going to be successful either.

Its hardly ruining music, and people might end up embarrassed by stuff considered 'real' music by music snobs. But personally I don't get musical snobbery, I think its ridiculous.
