From a philosophical viewpoint an embryo has no rights as it is only a potential and not an actual person and it should not have rights that override those of the pregnant woman.

You can not get attached to a lotto ticket, so silly example. And who says they wouldnt? Some reasure theirselves that abortion will be fine because its not living yet, its only a potential person. You dont know how you would actually feel about it unless you had one.
