If you said the same about me and I called you a bastard would you take that as banterous? Would you try to be pointlessly rebellious to the mods if I got banned for the same thing?

Yes I would. It has nothing to do with the person. I would have done the same.

But again, youre missing the point. I have been called worse names before, I have reported them even, and no one got banned.

Maybe a lot of people complained? Or he had a warning for behavior before? Maybe when you've been insulted in the past and reported it they've had words with the person in question? If Laura wrongly banned someone then James would have undone it by now.

I dont think so, because he got banned like 2 minutes later, and shaun didnt even know it happened.

She coulve had words with him, that was easy enough.

and it was one post, so they couldnt have been warned.

James probably cant be bothered.
