like Stu said in the other thread it's all about context, People said they wouldn't want him back which is fair that's their opinion. If you said the same about me and I called you a bastard would you take that as banterous? Would you try to be pointlessly rebellious to the mods if I got banned for the same thing?

Yes I would. It has nothing to do with the person. I would have done the same.
But again, youre missing the point. I have been called worse names before, I have reported them even, and no one got banned.
