Yes we can. We have far more money than they could ever imagine. No, it wouldn't stop anymore earthquakes, but it would still benefit the lives of those who are suffering at the moment, and who will be in the future. We have to pull ourselves together as a worldwide community. If people aren't willing to put themselves out to help others, then it just goes to show how awful this world is.

It's the same principle though, no matter how big or small. You either leave all, or nothing. If your parents were in that fire and some stranger was in your position, I'm sure you'd want them to help, wouldn't you?
