People have the right to be less than impressed, but I really don't think it should affect the game and especially if it has nothing to do with them. Terry wasn't really that well liked before anyway off the pitch, a lot of people say he isn't a very nice person. They had been friends for a long long time, and Terry is the captain of both his club and country so he should lead by example. It's bound to have an effect on group morale within the club.
