T is a time stamp the time of a significant moment or event. from which other related timings are referenced.

T minus is time leading up to that significant event, T plus is the time afterwards.

Because in your statement t minus 3 hours is when you open your first stellar and T minus 3.5 is when you lay into the whisky, this would indicate you drink the whisky then start on the stellar. (how barbaric is that)

For example you could pick 6pm on a friday as being the start of a weekend.
At T minus 3 hours I prepare the stellar( 3pm place it in the fridge to chill)
At T (6pm) time I crack the neck of the first stellar
At T plus 30 minutes I introduce Mr Bells/Glen Fiddich to Mr Stellar.
