I hope you give the same response to any post on this forum that mentions drinking, drink or being drunk. After all, Alcohol is a legal high. Still, I can tell by your rambling posts that you are going through a feisty little phase of puberty. Get back to us when your done. In that time you might have dug up some figures comparing death rates for Alcohol and even the worst of legal highs like Benzopiperazine.

Now then : Legal highs. Generally speaking, bad idea. The pills are a nightmare and are worse than the real E. Ditto for the 'bath salt' legal coke products.

If your idea of fun is not being able to piss or sleep for four days, go on, knock yourself out.

Some of the synthetic cannabinoid smoking blends are ace though. A group of us did Pulse in a bong and we were on the floor laughing for a good few hours. Still, don't make a habit of plugging untested research chemicals into your body. Not a good idea. At least with Cannabis you have a *fair* idea of where you stand if your responsible.

I mean, it's about feeling a different feeling right? Why not explore life, explore the world, explore people... why do you need a substance, be it legal or illegal to feel something? You keep using the word NEED and keep insinuating people take drugs or drink as a substitute for any actual brain development. That's preposterous. Plenty of people explore the world and enrich themselves in culture, and still have a few bottles at the weekend or a few smokes to feel good. Who care? Good for them.

Plus, IMO, you absolutely cannot explore the depths of your own mind without psychedelics. That's not condoning them either. I cant stand the things. They would more than likely spin me out badly, but they WILL show you things in your brain in ways you never knew existed. People have smoked DMT, a naturally occurring chemical in the brain, scientists have no idea why, and have literally lived the entire life of another person or have felt themselves come into contact with extraterrestrial life force in the space of ten minuets. I think it is a very healthy thing to have something, at least once, to compare your default, sober ego and state of mind to, otherwise you will never know what that actually feels like and will take it for granted. You will have nothing to compare your consciousness to and will view it as 'normal' when in fact it is simply one of many states of mind. Look at all the positive, reverential, life changing, spiritual psychedelic experiences out there. You cant just deny all of that. You simply cant. There's no way logic allows for it. And theirs no way you can FULLY explore the insane depths of your own imagination, and your own utterly meaningless position within the sheer size and scope of life as a whole, without tripping out a few times.

I would certainly call that exploring and trying new things. Of course in your impoverished, contrasting view of the world, people are EITHER drug addled, miserable, addictive, uncreative failures at life OR noble, amazing, incredible, logic defying, sober explorers of the finer things in life.

Nothing could be further from the truth. In fact it's amazing that you made all those posts without once questioning your own bizarre logic. I would wager there are more adult drinkers than non drinkers. Do they all fail at this life game? Does the mere fact that they want to use a drug mean they sit in blackened rooms for 23 hours a day banging there heads against a ****ing wall?

Yes and we are all well aware of the dangers of consuming excess alcohol and of long term excessive alcohol consumption. Are people aware of the dangers of consuming excess amounts of substances dubbed legal highs or even the effects of long term usage on the body?

Also a minor problem can be an interaction within the body between any prescribed medication, and the "legal high".

I would recommend the OP educate himself to the benefits and the side effects of chemicals such as mephodrone. Also check on the current legal status as several chemicals were criminalised as Class B others were rated as Class C, last year.

There is nothing legal that can compare to weed. The closest I found was that Smoke stuff but it wasn't even that good. Just stick with getting some weed, it won't be hard to find.

True, although I've seen friends who've had their drinks spiked at nightclubs. That's why I don't leave my drink sitting there when I go to the toilet. Even for a fella it's dangerous.
